In brief
There was a Victorian Mitchells & Butlers pub called The Queen's Head on Steelhouse Lane. It was replaced by a plain brutalist building in the 1960s. It was taken over by new owners who ran it as The Jekyll & Hyde from 2009, but it closed down for good in 2021 after the pandemic (previous owners was Bitters N' Twisted). In 2022 it has been taken over by Davenport's. It reopened on Friday 20th May 2022.
