In brief
The parish church of Kings Heath was built as an Anglican church, starting in 1859-60. A spire was added in 1866. The north aisle added in 1883 and the west end was enlarged in 1899. It is a Grade II listed building. Kings Heath Village Square opened outside of the church in 2011, in what was the churchyard of All Saints.

All Saints Church, Kings Heath - history
The original architect for the Anglican Church of All Saints in Kings Heath was Frederick Preedy (1820-1898).
He did the original work of 1859-60, and later designed the spire in 1866.

The north aisle was added in 1883 by Julius Alfred Chatwin (1830-1907).
The west end was enlarged in 1899 by J P Sharp (d.1915).

The walls were made of stone with Bromsgrove stone cladding under clay tile roofs.
The church became a Grade II listed building in 2003.
In 2009 the church was being extended to the west to connect the church to what would become the All Saints Centre.

About half of the spire has been under scaffolding during 2021-22.

The scaffolding below the spire was removed during April 2022, and is fully visible as of St George's Day from the High Street in the Village Square.
