In brief
This tram stop is the last one in Birmingham before the line goes into Sandwell. It opened in 1999 on the Birmingham to Wolverhampton line 1, and is now part of West Midlands Metro Zone 2. Built on the site of the old Handsworth and Smethwick railway station which closed in 1972.
