In brief
Built as Dudley Road School by John Henry Chamberlain & William Martin for the Birmingham School Board in 1878, of red brick with terracotta and stone dressings. It later became Summerfield Junior & Infant School. After that it was the main block to Handsworth Technical College. But is now part of the Summerfield Community Centre. It is a Grade II* listed building.
