In brief

A small railway station between Hall Green and Tyseley. It originally opened in 1908 as Spring Road Platform, as a halt. The station used to serve industrial works belonging to Lucas after the Second World War, but by the 1990s / 2000s these works began to close / move elsewhere. The land has been demolished, and from 2022 new houses will be built close to the station. There is three trains an hour each way Monday to Saturday's and one train an hour each way on Sunday's. Part of the Shakespeare Line.
