Take the civic lead and sponsor and partner with BirminghamWeAre to help promote and protect Birmingham's great history and heritage

Due to the enormous success of last year's charity calendar, not just in terms of the support raised for the 3 charities selected but also in promoting the City, we are preparing the photography and content for our Birmingham Gems 2018 calendar, once again in support of a local charity.

Last year, thousands of calendars ended up on walls in offices and homes across and outside the City, with the logos of sponsors prominent on each page.

The charity we've selected this year, in keeping with the Birmingham Gems theme, is the Birmingham Museums Trust.  http://www.birminghammuseums.org.uk/

The trust oversees 9 sites across and outside the City.  In addition to the museum & art gallery, this includes Aston Hall, Blakesley Hall, Sarehole Mill, Soho House, Weoley Castle, ThinkTank and the museum of JQ.  More and more reliance is being placed on help from sources other than the Council to keep Birmingham's history & heritage alive!

As well as the 4,000+ calendars we will print and circulate, we are also going digital this year.  A project has been set up on our new engagement platform at www.birminghamWeAre.com where we will showcase the contributions and the sponsors as they come on board.  We are looking at the final calendar being offered as a screen download once completed.

The https://twitter.com/BirminghamWeAre following has grown considerably and, with almost 0.5M impressions a month, we'll be making sure we thank everyone involved through that channel as well.

We'd be delighted if you were in a position to support us with this initiative.

We will run the sponsorship exactly the same as last year :

-  Due to the valuable support of a local printer, we are looking for a minimum of 12 sponsors at £500 per sponsor.

-  For the £500, your logo/bio/web links will appear large on the inside page, and then appear on every single month.  All the pages from last year's calendar have been added in the resources link off the above project page on the BirminghamWeAre site.

 -  We will ensure you receive 100 calendars for your own use and circulation.

Birmingham Museums Trust will also be displaying the calendar across their sites and all Birmingham's Councillors and MPs will be receiving a copy as well as major businesses and public sector managers across the City.
