Indicative cost of £319m to complete Midland Metropolitan Hospital

Construction News reports on Deloitte's cost analysis and according to Deloitte a contractor has provided an indicative cost of £319m for completing the build of the Midland Metropolitan Hospital at Sandwell.

With the contract expected to be awarded by the end of August, Sandwell & West Birmingham Trust are targeting a 2022 opening for the hospital.

The estimated cost of protecting the site and for repairs due to damage caused by exposure is £21.5m,
