1 Brindleyplace is to be refurbished and upwardly extended to deliver attractive, flexible office/education uses (9,654 > 10,129 sqm).
The 1994-built five-storey structure, which also includes a basement level, will be reconfigured and aesthetically enhanced to deliver sustainable Cat A office floorspace (BREEAM Excellent; NABERS 5/5.5*; EPC B rating; Embodied Carbon A rating).
The ground floor will be decluttered and improved with the infilling of a colonnade to offer fluid frontages across the street, providing vibrant ‘hub style’ facilities, including a modern new reception, a ‘club lounge’, meeting spaces & F&B offerings.
Floors 1-4 will be upgraded internally, while floor 5 will deliver a green-roofed extension offering additional offices, complemented by attractive rooftop gardens.
An increase in cycling provision will see 81 spaces provided at basement level alongside 21 cars (4 EVs), shower, changing, and drying facilities.
