Where is The Church?

The Church is at 22 Great Hampton Street, Birmingham, B18 6AQ

In brief

A public house at the corner of Great Hampton Street and Harford Street, and next to the former Lloyds Bank building. The current manager Jon has worked here for over 25 years. Was called The Church Inn until 2014, and The Church after that. Also a live music venue in the evening and at night.

The Church - details

Current bar manager Jon started working in The Church Inn around the year 2000.

At the time it was part time bar work for him.

His first manager was Dave Collins.

He is now the publican with a wealth of experience from up and down the country.

Jon used to be a metal finisher in his own little shop about 300 yards away from The Church Inn.

You can have a great meal here with great service and atmosphere.

The venue is like a chameleon, a good daytime trade with fantastic food.

Then in the evening / night a mix of DJ's / artists providing the funky vibe ready for the weekend.

And when the hangover kicks in the best Sunday brunch and roasts for miles to come.

The pub was known as The Church Inn until 2013-14, but is now known simply as The Church (after a refurbishment).
