The Windsor it a traditional pub hidden on Cannon Street (off New Street). At one point it was owned by Mitchells & Butlers and ran under their Samual Cooper Free houses brand.

The Windsor - history
The Windsor pub was rebuilt in 1990 by PCPT Architects, the stucco Jacobean façade a near-replica of that of 1888 by William Wykes.
THE Windsor was one of the first examples of M&B’s latest brand, a freehouse called Samuel Cooper.
There was a Corals bookmakers next door, but it moved out by 2018.

The pub was red in 2011, then externally green from 2012.

Like other pubs in Birmingham, they decorate it with flags and bunting during the Euros or the World Cup.
