A new semi circlular road was built on Church Road when the Swan Shopping Centre was rebuilt around 2011 to 2012. The Recreation Ground was renovated in 4 phases from about 2012 to 2019.
It received a Queen Elizabeth II Fields in Trust status in 2014 as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Although the plaques weren't installed on the Boulder until sometime between 2017 and 2019.
